I’ve not updated in a long time, so while I’m sorting my portfolio
I thought I would drop a few links:

This time last year I storyboarded a lovely ad for the Grand National at Nexus Productions. Take a look here: The Outsider.

If you’re starting a career in design you should probably read this: ’4 Tips for Getting work in a design studio’ by the talented Barny Collis of Pollen.

I really enjoyed these peeks at William Simpson’s storyboards for Game of Thrones. And finally, a really interesting look behind the scenes of‘How an Episode of the Simpsons is Made’ from The Verge magazine.

Plenty more sketches like the one to the left on my Instagram account
along with the usual pictures of cats etc.

I boarded this Sunday Times commercial for Daniel de Viciola at Friend last month.
It looks gorgeous but pity the poor production assistants who had to clean up after it…

Just read this great little interview with the creators of Teletubbies here.

Andy Davenport and production designer Amanda Atkinson gave me my first job as a
storyboard artist 13 years ago. All the boards were drawn on post-it notes so Andy
could re-arrange them on the wall of his portakabin. When I wasn’t drawing I herded
giant rabbits, arranged flowers on the hills and made Tubbie-toast in the props barn.
Best job ever x
